Day of Excellence

Day of Excellence was developed by the Leadership Rapid City Class of 2009 and provides an opportunity for people in the Black Hills region to gather with locally and nationally recognized speakers for personal and professional development.

Work is a fruition of life. Everyone wants to do well. Everyone wants to succeed. In order to do so, you must set a personal foundation for success. Day of Excellence is an inspirational and motivational day featuring topnotch speakers presenting personal growth through topics including attitude, goal setting, personality differences, and work place and life changes. Be ready to laugh, cry, and grow!

Day of Excellence is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Who Can Benefit?

You! An organization is as efficient as its ability to motivate its workforce! Any individual who is open to improving their personal and professional development will benefit by attending Day of Excellence.

Benefits extend past yourself or your workforce to less fortunate of our community through our charitable giving plan.

Day of Excellence may qualify for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits. A certificate of attestation will be presented for your submission.

When and Where?

The Day of Excellence is held on the third Wednesday in May at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Theatre. The 2012 Day of Excellence will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

Why attend Day of Excellence?

Personal and professional development training is vital to success and individual growth. However, it is not readily available to local professionals in Rapid City. Day of Excellence will allow employers to provide employees with low-cost, high-quality training right here in Rapid City without excessive travel expenses. Day of Excellence is made possible by local organizations at an extremely reduced price. Leadership Rapid City Class of 2009

Day of Excellence, Inc. is comprised of 19 individuals with various backgrounds and professions created from the Leadership Class of 2009 Leadership Rapid City is a program offered by the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce and is tasked with creating a legacy project that will benefit the community. The LRC Class of 2009 chose to create Day of Excellence.
